Pak Suzuki Sales Increased By 62 Percent In 11 Months Of Fiscal Year 2022

Leading car maker in the country Pak Suzuki records 62 percent increase in sales through the eleven months of fiscal year 2022. Business Recorder's latest report suggests that the volumetric sales of Pak Suzuki have increased significantly year over year in the last eleven months of the fiscal year 2022.

Business Recorder's data suggest that 270,000 auto sales were made in eleven months of fiscal year 2022. The sales number does not include the sales of kia,  Changan, and other new automakers. If sales of these new automakers are included then the total number of sales rises to almost 300,000 units.

Pak Suzuki leads the race with sales of 130,000 units at a growth rate of 62 percent. Toyota comes in second with sales of 60,000 units at a growth rate of 59 percent while Honda stands at third with sales of more than 30,000 units at a growth rate of 37 percent.

It is fascinating to see an increase in car sales despite high inflation and economic crisis in the country. Experts say that the carmakers may see a decline in sales in the new fiscal year amid increase in fuel prices and dollar rates in the country which have elevated the manufacturing costs of cars as well. Also, government has now announced to impose super tax on large industries which includes automobile industry as well. With this new super tax carmakers may increase the prices of cars which will shift the burden to the end buyer.
